Los Angeles will be hosting the 2023 California Mock Trial Finals at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, for the first time ever! We need your help on March 17 and 18. Legal volunteers are an integral part of the Mock Trial program.
The State Finals involves over 800 high school students from across the state that will represent their county in court, playing the roles of attorneys, witnesses, clerks, and bailiffs. We need over 300 legal volunteers to make the State Finals a success. Each scoring panel includes a presiding judge to preside over a trial and 3-4 attorneys to score the students’ performances.
All trials last 2 to 2 ½ hours and will take place at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse (111 North Hill Street, Los Angeles 90012).
Round 1 - Friday, March 17 at 5:00pm Round 2 - Saturday, March 18 at 8:30am Round 3 - Saturday, March 18 at 1:00pm Round 4 - Saturday, March 18 at 4:30pm
We are using a web-based system called Tabroom, which will enable us to automate and streamline several competition operations. Please create an account in Tabroom. Once you create an account you will be able to sign-up to volunteer to preside/score and using the same login to enter your scores during the competition.
