The best part about hosting a CRF EHI intern  is watching the intern’s transformation from  being shy and quiet to being part of a big  team.

Janna Styskal, Bird Marella

EHI made us more driven in pursuing our academic and professional goals, while furthering our understanding and awareness of the communities we live in. It made our dreams feel like they were attainable.

                                          Karla, Intern

Constitutional Rights Foundation’s Expanding Horizons Internships (EHI) is a rigorous program that places high school students as paid interns in professional environments. EHI offers students the chance to gain work experience by helping staff at corporate, nonprofit, and government job sites. Additionally, students attend interactive seminars designed to help them prepare for college, career, and civic life. The seminars are designed to provide youth with specific skills including:

   • College Preparation     • Professional Work-Place Skills      • Communications/Networking

   • Civic Participation        • Writing With Purpose                      • Critical Thinking
