Lawyer in the Classroom

The
Lawyer in the Classroom program connects the youth of Los Angeles with
the county’s legal community through educational activities in the classroom
and the courthouse. Attorneys and judges throughout Los Angeles County
bring the legal system to life for students by volunteering their time
in a variety of ways, serving as special guest lecturers and year-long
resources in the classroom, or arranging private visits to a courthouse
or law office. As a result of the Lawyer in the Classroom program, students
receive unique, in-depth education about the American justice system,
our citizens’ rights and responsibilities, and legal career opportunities
from experts in the field.
