Constitutional Rights Foundation is excited to be in Sacramento for the 26th Annual History Day in California State Finals! Throughout this school year, over 45,000 California students will have researched and prepared their entries for their local History Day competitions. This year’s State Finals will showcase over 1,000 of California’s finest History Day students representing 33 different counties from throughout the state. The long hours spent researching, rehearsing lines, designing and constructing exhibits, editing videos, and sharpening skills as writers, artists, performers and historians will all be put to the test during this event. Judge volunteers are an invaluable part of History Day in California and we attribute the success of California’s students at National History Day in large part to the quality judging we have had at the State Finals. We encourage you to volunteer as a judge.

Another way to volunteer and enrich your State History Day experience is by volunteering to perform various functions on the days of the event with the opportunity to interact with students, parents, teachers, and judges. We hope that you will join the energy and enthusiasm of those who help make history come alive as we explore this year’s theme, The Indvidual in History: Actions and Legacies.
