Webinar: Youth & Police – Resources for Middle and High School Classrooms

Youth PoliceDo your students often have questions or concerns about media reports involving law enforcement?

Do they have questions or concerns about their own experiences with law enforcement?

Join us on Thursday, March 2, 2023, from 4:00--4:30 PM for a FREE webinar introduction to Constitutional Rights Foundation's Youth & Police curriculum.

Youth & Police (Y&P) is designed to help young people develop a realistic and balanced understanding of law enforcement's role in society and their own ability to promote police reform and public safety in their communities.

Register now for the webinar and learn more about Y&P and a very special opportunity for selected classrooms to visit LAPD Headquarters on May 4, 2023, to meet Chief Moore and interact with police commissioners. A $50 dollar stipend will be provided to the first 12 who register and attend this session. Implementation stipends are also available for high school teachers interested in delivering "The Police Commissioners Meeting," the newest lesson added to the Y&P curriculum. This lesson is a simulation of an actual Los Angeles Board of Police Commissioners meeting.

Visit our Youth & Police website and learn more about additional classroom resources for middle and high school students.
