Eastern Europe

This special issue of Bill of Rights in Action focuses on Eastern Europe. It has been developed specifically for our Democracy Education Exchange Project (DEEP). This program is designed to strengthen civic education in the United States and in Central and Eastern Europe and the newly independent states of the former Soviet Union. For more information on this program, go to CRF's web site at www.crf-usa.org and click on Programs. We will return to our standard format, with articles on world history, U.S. history, and U.S. government in our next Bill of Rights in Action.
